The song, which premiered at Rolling Stone , is the final pre-release single taken from Matt Rollings Mosaic , his first solo album in over thirty years out on August The album is now available for pre-order. After our meeting, I knew I wanted to make some music with him, and he was the first artist to record with me for the record, which really is a mosaic of the influences and experiences of my musical life so far. The acoustic lead guitar is Willie, playing Trigger. The release was accompanied by an official music video directed by Michael Wilson featuring images from his extensive archives that capture the breadth of the human experience. On top of his astonishing resume as a session player and sideman, Rollings has also written, produced, and arranged for a whole slew of icons, from Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett to Keith Urban and Mary Chapin Carpenter, taken home the ACM Award for Pianist of the Year on ten separate occasions, and earned widespread acclaim for his solo debut, Balconies. With this record, though, it was time for me to explore my own vision. With this record, I got to choose them all.

This was recorded at a rehearsal with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and we have to be grateful that the cameras were rolling to capture this wonderful performance on tape. The song itself is one of the all time greats. Written in by Beasley Smith and Haven Gillespie, everyone who is anyone has recorded this track. This was the big hit version of the song; number 1 in the USA charts, where it stayed for 22 weeks. It was a song that was utterly perfect for the post-war world.
