Asgore and Flowey are among the final boss fights of Undertale, coming after you've explored The Core. The following boss is designed to be played as part of a complete Pacifist guide - in short, going through the entire game without killing anything to unlock a different ending - of which bosses are some of the hardest to beat. If you're playing a Genocide run, however, you'll be fighting someone different in the final encounter - the prior link explains who. But whichever way you're playing, our wider Undertale walkthrough delves into other areas of the game. As the battle begins, Asgore will destroy your Mercy button. This time you have no choice but to fight to the bitter end! His attacks are very similar to Toriel's but they do significantly more damage, but you can eat your Butterscotch Pie and Talk to him three times to lower his AT and DEF to even the odds a little if you need to. The longer the fight goes on the more damage you'll do to him with each hit, and he will eventually concede defeat. Choose to spare him, and Flowey will make an appearance.

Asgore boss fight
Flowey is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the role-playing video game Undertale , created by Toby Fox. He appears for most of the game in the form of an unassuming flower with a face in the middle. It is later revealed that he is the reincarnation of Asriel Dreemurr , a young monster prince who was killed by humans. The player first encounters Flowey at the start of the game, where he attacks the player under the pretenses of being a helpful monster who will award the player with "friendliness pellets" actually harmful bullets. Following the player throughout the game, Flowey returns after the fight against Asgore and finishes him off when the player is about to spare him. Taking the power of Asgore's collected human souls, he becomes Photoshop Flowey also known as Omega Flowey and takes on a hideous and gigantic form that clashes in art style with the rest of the game. When the player defeats him, he tells the player to complete the game without collecting any LOVE if he is spared, precipitating the game's "Pacifist Route", if the player has not done so already. When the player encounters the True Lab area of the game, they learn the origins of Flowey—that he was the son of Toriel and Asgore, being named Asriel with half of each of their names. Chara devised a plan to commit suicide by eating poisonous flowers, combine their soul with Asriel's and break through the barrier. When this plan was executed, Asriel transformed into a powerful being.
He is the first character to meet Frisk after the latter loses their way and falls into the Underground. Hence his name, Flowey appears as a small golden flower. He often greets the protagonist with southern jargon, such as "Howdy! Whenever he drops this guise of friendliness, he often calls the protagonist an "idiot". Flowey has a malevolent and cruel disposition, berating the protagonist for not following his "kill or be killed" philosophy. Despite this, he also criticizes the protagonist at the end of the Ruins if they killed any monster. He is a greedy, arrogant, egocentric, manipulative, devious, sly, and cunning planner, who is subtle if the circumstances require it. He is also shown to be extremely solicitous, pusillanimous, diffident, and cowardly, as he kills his former father to appease the protagonist in a vain attempt to save his own life in the Genocide Route's conclusion.
